Shift offers a convenient and portable solution for individuals undergoing physical therapy, enabling them to effortlessly monitor their progress and uphold a regular routine. Whether situated in the comfort of their living room or in an outdoor setting, Shift seamlessly adapts to the user's schedule, providing maximum flexibility and accessibility.
Over 300 million people do Physical therapy yearly, While only 35% actually do their workouts at home.
Physical therapy promotes long term recovery and increased mobility.
However much of the actual exercise is reliant on the patient ability to keep to a consistent schedule to make improvement.

Throughout our research phase, we engaged in insightful interviews with both current and former physical therapy patients, as well as sought the expertise of active physical therapists. Our findings revealed prevalent barriers commonly encountered by patients in their therapeutic journeys.
One significant issue identified was the presence of insecurities among patients regarding their performance during at-home workouts. Many expressed concerns about whether they were executing the exercises correctly or effectively, highlighting the need for guidance and reassurance in their self-directed routines.

Patients have unique needs on a case by case basis. The solution must have the ability to adapt to the users needs.

Allowing patients to experience a more disciplined exercise regiment along side integration of scheduling PT into their daily life.
Reassuring
During our interviews many patients reported that they sometimes avoided certain exercises due to their lack of confidence in performing it safely and avoiding further injury.
